A monkey would make a terrible doctor. Obviously we are all pretty committed to leaving our medical care to the dutiful and well educated hands and mind of a trained human doctor. That said monkeys do have a opposable thumbs which means they can hold a scalpel and so I would be much more accepting of a monkey doctor than a hippopotamus doctor.

Still it is pretty wild that a monkey might put on a doctor’s outfit and stethoscope and try to give you pertinent medical care. Curious George of course is one of the more famous monkeys of all time and having not yet registered for my company’s health plan and being bewildered by George’s celebrity I would actually consider allowing Curious George to drain a cyst or some similar medical procedures.

This plush version of George wearing a doctor’s outfit is only $13.99 and while it is not likely to help you relieve the pressure of a loaded cyst it can make you feel a little better about the medical ailments that will surely be your demise. This is a fun bargain. A slick deal. A great purchase for anyone looking to cuddle with a doctor but unwilling to put out.
